„A kötődés a bölcsőtől a sírig létfontosságú szerepet játszik az ember életében”– vallja John Bowlby pszichológus. Kutatásom által hidat képezek a kötődéselmélet pszichológiai síkon megalapozott elmélete és a pásztorálteológia között. Célom arra rávilágítani, hogy a gyermekkorban kialakuló kötődési minták (biztonságos, szorongó-elkerülő, szorongó-ambivalens és dezorganizált) hatással vannak a felnőtt létre, jelen esetben a lelkipásztorok, mint a gyülekezet élén álló vezető személyek kapcsolati rendszereire. Ennek feltérképezéséhez az empirikus kutatás módszereit is segítségül hívtam. A feltárt kötődési minták és a lelkipásztori szolgálat közötti összefüggéseket az érzelemközpontú terápia (ÉFT) fényében körvonalazom, és lelkigondozói szemszögből mutatok rá a nem biztonságos kötődésűek gyógyulásának lehetőségeire az intim kapcsolatokon belül.

Rolf Theobold könyvének központi kérdése: hogyan tudunk a rendelkezésre álló idő rövidsége ellenére olyan lelkipásztori beszélgetéseket folytatni, amelyek célja a problémák megoldása? A rövid távú lelkigondozás gyakorlatával kapcsolatos másik igazság az, hogy minden út az első lépés megtételével kezdődik. Sem a tanácsadó, sem a tanácskérő nem várhat azonnali megoldást minden gondra. A megoldás felé vezető úton szükség van egy kezdeti impulzusra, ezért a hangsúly nem az azonnali gyógyulásra, hanem a bátorítás és támogatás azonnali szavára kerül. Gunther Schmidt szerint a megoldáshoz vezető úton szerzett tapasztalatokról szóló visszajelzés ugyanolyan fontos, mint annak elfogadása, hogy a probléma megváltozott felfogása már valódi változáshoz vezet. A megoldások kialakítására való hajlamot is meg kell tanulnunk, hasonlóan a születésünktől kezdve elsajátított tulajdonságokhoz.

This paper was my MA thesis, and its topic is the reception of the teaching of the Church Fathers concerning the baptism in the 1559 edition of John Calvin’s Institutes. In this thesis, I try to unfold some of the factors that determined the way Calvin used the writings of the Church Fathers in formulating his doctrine of baptism. After presenting the patristic quotations related to the ‘theoretical’ theology of baptism, I will present the quotations and references that are related rather to the practice of baptism. Here I analyse the references regarding the doctrine of baptism coming from the Donatists, the problematic of emergency baptism and women’s right to baptize. Finally, I will present the references from Inst IV 16, dealing with infant baptism. In the last chapter of this study, I will try to summarize the conclusions of the research. I hope the reader will have a clearer image on Calvin’s use of the Church Fathers’ theological heritage on baptism in the Institutes.

I invite the reader to take a journey into the theological world of two little treatises written by one of the most interesting ecclesiastical figures of the fifth century coming from the Antiochene tradition: Theodoret, Bishop of Cyrus.

A Magyar Patrisztikai Társaság Elnöksége 2017-ben a Társaság XVII. éves konferenciájának vezértémáját a reformáció 500. évfordulója alkalmából az egyházatyák munkásságának kora újkori hatásában, recepciójában adta meg, a reformáció és az ellenreformáció korára egyaránt vonatkozóan. A témakiírás több szempontból is érdekes és fontos, de a patrisztikus kutatások horizontjáról mindenekelőtt azért, mert felhívja a figyelmet arra a jelentős szerepre, amelyet az   ókeresztény   szerzők   (elsősorban   a   latin   nyelvűek,   mint   Tertullianus,   Jeromos,   vagy Ágoston, de  a  keleti   atyák   is,   mint   például  Baszileiosz,  vagy   Aranyszájú   János)   művei játszottak a reformátorok  műveltségében, teológiájuk, gondolkodásuk  alakulásában,  és  az ennek szélesebb kontextusaként jelen lévő humanista műveltségben és filológiai-könyvkiadói gyakorlatban.

Franz Bos személyét azért választottuk bemutatásra, mert esetében megtalálható a titkos rendőrség munkamódszerének valamennyi eleme: a szigorú határellenőrzéstől a részletes ügynöki jelentéseken, figyelmeztetésen és a több irányú technikai eszközalkalmazáson át egészen a nyomkövetésig.

The second half of the 20th century can be characterised by a consolidation of all state structures of the Communist Party. The most important institution in keeping the power was the Secret Police (Securitate), which exercised a strict control over the Churches, including the Hungarian Reformed Church. The Securitate was mostly interested in the foreign contacts of the church. After the Second World War the Reformed Church has kept its contacts with the Reformed Churches in Hungary, as well as with many other Western European churches from the former West Germany, Holland, Switzerland, etc. The Secret Police’s purpose was to gather as many information as possible about the different contacts, and to control the whole issue.

During the Communist regime, in the sixties of the 20th century, the Protestant Theological Seminary started the student exchange program with churches and institutions from the Western part of Europe, mainly the Dutch Reformed Churches. It was in 1968 when the first Dutch couple came to spend one study year in the Seminary. After them students have been arriving each year until the end of the eighties. Coming from a capitalist, “unfriendly” country, the Dutch students have always been watched at by the Securitate (Secret Police) very carefully. Many informers were recruited from among the Reformed pastors as well as seminary professors to control the whole study process of the foreigners. The documents included into this paper are perfect samples of how the Secret Police usually acted.
