The study of the historicity and change processes of dance culture requires a specific theoretical methodology in dance anthropology and dance folklore studies, especially since such research has been relatively rare in the Hungarian anthropological scene and has produced a number of questionable results in the field of dance folklore studies. several aspects of an anthropological approach, as well as adopting a comparative and interpretive approach to critical dance studies can assist in deploying a historical perspective in the examination of dance culture. On the other hand, I will also argue that certain schools of the research methodology of social history may facilitate this as well. Utilizing the findings of new social history can also greatly enrich the current methodology of historical dance research.

Kolozsvár az erdélyi reformáció központjának tekinthető, s a legnagyobb magyar reformátor, Dávid Ferenc egyben az erdélyi reformátusok és az unitáriusok első püspökeként írta be nevét a vallástörténetbe. Ő ugyan fogságban, Déva várában hunyt el (†1579), de unitárius utódai mind Kolozsvárt székeltek, s itt is jutottak sírhoz a Házsongárdi temetőben. Sokuknak a síremléke fennmaradt, másoknak legalább lemásolták a feliratát. A református egyházban kialakult az a szokásjog, hogy a megválasztott püspök ott lakott és szolgált tovább, ahol a püspökké választás érte. Így rendszerint ott is került a sírba. Ezért aztán számos helyen tértek nyugovóra: Magyarigenben, Gyulafehérvárt, Nagyenyeden, Désen, Marosvásárhelyen. Az utóbbi város református temetőjében öten is pihenhetnek, de csak három püspöksírt tartanak nyilván1 és öveznek kegyelettel: Antal János (†1854), Bodola Sámuel (†1866), Csiha Kálmán (†2007).

Weather imagery plays a major role in Hosea. Hosea 2 recalls the image of an unfaithful wife; Hosea 4:2–3 describes the withering of the land; in 6:3; 10:12; 14:6, the several types of precipitation draw attention to the utterance of YHWH or the requested righteousness; in 9:10.13.16; 10:1; 13:5; 14:6.8, Israel is symbolised by different plants that blossom and wither, depending on their relation to Yhwh. In all of these instances, weather phenomena contribute to these images. In this article, I try to catalogue and evaluate the metaphors and concepts to look at how meteorological images convey theological and historical messages, and vice versa how historical events or sociological procedures demonstrate their consequences in nature, especially in the weather. It seems that weather imagery is used to describe the consequences of idolatry, injustice and false politics.

Örvendek annak, hogy a szórványtéma az egyházi elöljáróság érdeklődésének homlokterébe került, viszont azzal is számolnunk kell, hogy minél felkapottabbá válik, annál több sztereotípia és félreértelmezés tapad hozzá, s ha ezeket nem is fogom mind érinteni, jó néhányat terítékre fogok ajánlani közülük.

Révai kis lexikona 1936-ban közölte Edvard Munch Az élet tánca című festményének fekete-fehér reprodukcióját a modern külföldi festők mellékletében. A „tánc” magyar szavunk német közvetítéssel honosodott meg nyelvünkben. Jelentése: a zene hangjaira ritmikusan mozogni, ugrálni, könynyedén  és gyorsan forogni. Az ókorban azt a körtáncot jelentette, amelyben a nők vagy férfiak összefogózva körben forognak. Ez a tánc az örömöt fejezte ki. Témája már az ókortól ismert a képzőművészetben, amint azt a Kr. e. 4–5. századból származó Táncoló peucetiai nők című falfestmény is bizonyítja az olaszországi Ruvo di Puglia (Bari megye) táncosainak sírján.
