Naast de sporadische expliciete verwijzingen naar de receptie van de profetie door andere profeten in een latere tijd zijn er een aantal indirecte bewijzen met betrekking tot het onderlinge verband tussen de profetische teksten. Het doel van deze bijdrage is om de aanwezigheid en functie van de traditie te onderzoeken binnen de zogenaamde volkenprofetieën; dat wil zeggen: profetieën die gaan over de vreemde volken rondom Israël. De vraag is in hoeverre de profeten zich van andere volkenprofetieën bewust waren, hoe die traditie in hun eigen boodschap een rol speelde, en hoe die traditie zich tot de nieuwe context verhoudt.

A bálványimádásról szóló Misna-traktátus, az Avoda Zara egyik szakasza (AvZar 1:5) azokat az árucikkeket sorolja fel, amelyeket tilos a pogányoknak eladni. Felmerülhet a kérdés, hogy a felsoroltak valóban olyan fontos szerepet játszottak-e a pogány kultuszokban, mint ahogyan azt traktátus sugallja. Más lehetséges magyarázat szerint ezek mind varázsláshoz használt alapanyagok. A tanulmány ezt a két kérdést járja körül, régészeti és irodalmi emlékek alapján.

Az Erdélyi Református Egyház 16–17. századi szerkezete sok hasonlóságot mutatott a nyugat-európai református egyházi modellel, amelynek intézményei – a presbitérium kivételével – már a 16. század közepén létrejöttek Erdélyben. A presbitériumok felállításának elmaradását főként az magyarázza, hogy az erdélyi az erdélyi társadalom nem a polgári demokráciára épült, egy meglehetősen feudalista rendszerre, következésképpen a társadalom alsó rétegei nem befolyásolhatták sem a helyi közösségek, sem pedig az ország irányítását. Ezért a presbitériumot mint nyugati demokratikus egyházi intézményt nem lehetett beépíteni egyházi kormányzatba. Így az egyházi kormányzat legalacsonyabb szintje a classis vagy dékánság (synodus specificis) zsinata volt, amelyet a dékán (nyugaton: felügyelő) vezetett.

Franz Bos személyét azért választottuk bemutatásra, mert esetében megtalálható a titkos rendőrség munkamódszerének valamennyi eleme: a szigorú határellenőrzéstől a részletes ügynöki jelentéseken, figyelmeztetésen és a több irányú technikai eszközalkalmazáson át egészen a nyomkövetésig.

The second half of the 20th century can be characterised by a consolidation of all state structures of the Communist Party. The most important institution in keeping the power was the Secret Police (Securitate), which exercised a strict control over the Churches, including the Hungarian Reformed Church. The Securitate was mostly interested in the foreign contacts of the church. After the Second World War the Reformed Church has kept its contacts with the Reformed Churches in Hungary, as well as with many other Western European churches from the former West Germany, Holland, Switzerland, etc. The Secret Police’s purpose was to gather as many information as possible about the different contacts, and to control the whole issue.

During the Communist regime, in the sixties of the 20th century, the Protestant Theological Seminary started the student exchange program with churches and institutions from the Western part of Europe, mainly the Dutch Reformed Churches. It was in 1968 when the first Dutch couple came to spend one study year in the Seminary. After them students have been arriving each year until the end of the eighties. Coming from a capitalist, “unfriendly” country, the Dutch students have always been watched at by the Securitate (Secret Police) very carefully. Many informers were recruited from among the Reformed pastors as well as seminary professors to control the whole study process of the foreigners. The documents included into this paper are perfect samples of how the Secret Police usually acted.

Az izraeliták által lakott területeken folyamatosan jelen vannak a dekoratív és a kultikus ábrázolások, amelyek olyannyira átfogóan jellemzik Izráel hétköznapjait, hogy nem lehet őket csupán elszigetelt csoportok devianciájaként értelmezni. A temérdek istenábrázolás, istenszimbólum, szobor, pecsétlenyomat, amulett újból és újból arra a következtetésre vezeti a kutatókat, hogy a fogság előtt Izráelben jelen volt egy erőteljes, képtisztelettel együtt járó politeista tendencia.

Der Stele Jahves. Sammlungen von Fremdvölkersprüchen in den prophetischen Schriften des Alten Testaments. In der heutigen Prophetenforschung wurde die Frage nach der Entstehung der Prophetenbücher zentralgestellt. Vornehmliche Andacht haben dabei die kleineren Kollektionen dieser Bücher gewonnen. Die vorliegende Studie ist den theologischen und literarischen Aspekten der Sammlungen von Fremdvölkersprüchen in den Büchern der Propheten Amos, Jesaja, Jeremia, Ezechiel und Zephaniah gewidmet. Hier wurde die Frage nach dem theologischen Prinzip dieser Kollektionen gestellt, und zwar auf Kollektionsebene und auf Buchebene. Welcher Gedanke hält die verschiedenen Fremdvölkersprüche zusammen und welcher bestimmt den Platz der Kollektionen in dem Buch, in dem sie jetzt stehen? Wie weit kann man ein gemeinsames theologisches Ordnungsprinzip hinter den Sammlungen der verschiedenen Bücher aufweisen, und wie weit sind diese Kollektionen buchspezifisch?
