Valentinus and His Teaching in the Light of Modern Research and Ancient Christian Heresiology -- The first part of this paper contains a summary of the life and teachings of Valentinus written by Bernadett Szűcs, in which the author sketches the most important aspects of this complex topic based on the early Christian primary sources harmonized with the state of the modern research. As an appendix to this introduction, the second part of this paper, written by György Papp contains the first Hungarian translation (accompanied by the original Greek text from the recently published critical edition) of one of the primary sources with a short introduction, to the text: the chapter about Valentinus in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus.

Scout Movement in Transylvania. This study is a presentation about the history of the scout movement in Transylvania. The Hungarian scout movement in Transylvania started in 1911. After that many Hungarian scout team was founded. After 1914, when Transylvania became a part of Romania the Hungarian scout teams joined the Romanian scout association, which was founded in 1914. Between the two world wars the Romanian scout association was under the direct influence of the state. After 1940, when a part of Transylvania was connected to Hungary again, the Hungarian scout movement in Transylvania has also revived. The scout started many kind of good projects. They became a useful part of the society. The centre of the scout movement by that time was Kolozsvár.

S ha megtették ezt már kivétel nélkül a világ összes kálvinista egyházai, miért vonnánk ki annak megtétele alól magunkat éppen mi, romániai magyar reformátusok, holott ez nálunk fajunk és egyházunk legfontosabb életkérdése.
