The General Synod of 1820 is the subject of my Master's thesis. I believe that the topic and the sources it reveals are indispensable for the research of the Transylvanian Reformed Church history. I will start from the life of the church in the 19th century and move towards the source that I have uncovered. In the excavated source, points appear which are connected with the liturgical history, the history of the order, and the rules and customs of burial. A slice of this will be presented and unpacked in this essay. The information and the improved readability of the record will be useful for all those who wish to enrich their knowledge of church history.

A montanizmus jól példázza, hogy hova vezet az irracionalitás, a rajongás, és mi történik akkor, ha elkápráztatnak a pillanatnyilag megmagyarázhatatlan jelenségek. Jelen dolgozat a montanizmus kialakulását, elterjedésének okát, teológiáját, valamint ennek a pünkösdi-karizmatikus mozgalommal való rokonságát kutatja, és célja az, hogy rávilágítson a nyelveken szólás és az eksztatikus próféciákkal kapcsolatos veszélyre, illetve a tévelygések elkerülése végett figyelmeztessen a túlkapásokra.

Kutatásom során a következő kérdésekre keresem a választ: melyek azok a konkrét mozzanatok, amelyek kitöltik a liturgiát? Mit szimbolizálnak ezek? Mi történik az ikonosztáz falain belül és kívül? Mely részeket láthatja a gyülekezet, és melyeket nem? Mit jelképeznek a liturgikus eszközök? Hogyan valósul meg az üdvtörténet a liturgiai keretben?
