Tanulmányomban Ádám Jenő munkásságát, valamint a református gyülekezeti énekek dallamát feldolgozó egyházzenei kompozícióit mutatom be. Kodály Zoltán neve mellett az övé elhalványul, pedig a zenepedagógia területén igen jelentős értéket teremtett: a mester elveit ő ültette gyakorlatba, több évtizedes, szorgalmas munkával, nemzedékek zenei oktatását segítve. Egyházzenei művei által a gyülekezeti énekkarok repertoárja gazdagodott.

Canaanite Abominations as Presented in the Book of Deuteronomy. A Theological Evaluation. Before entering in the Promised Land the people of Israel were told not to follow the forbidden practices of the polytheistic nations (Deut 18, 9–14), to avoid all kinds of magical and superstitious practices designed to discover the will of gods, or even to compel the gods to action in certain ways. The occult, superstitions, divinisation, sorcery, spiritualism were abominations all to Yahweh and brought about His judgment. Yahweh made His will known through revelation, by the aid of His prophets, whose words would be clearly understandable to the people in contrast with the ambiguous and mysterious spells of those who worked with magic and divinisation. Israel must be blameless in regard to every form of divinisation, magic or spiritism.

The role of group work in teacher education. This essay deals with the role and importance of psychological group work with special regard to teachers’ professional development. In the last few decades a new view of the way teachers should be educated emerged, in which more attention was directed towards the person of the teacher. The real self image and self-knowledge is important for religion teachers when we take into account that they are especially expected to be empathic, authentic and able to accept the others. After we had investigated that the actual curriculum of the Faculty for Teachers of Religion provides hardly any programmes which aim to develop students’ selfknowledge, we tried to work out a programme which would help the healthy development of students’ personal and professional self.

A halál, a temetés témája, mondhatni tabu kérdés, bár nap, mint nap halnak meg emberek és végeznek temetési szertartásokat a lelkészek. Az egyházban mégis keveset beszélünk a halálról, a meghalásról. Igehirdetésekben is ritkán fordul elő. Talán ennek is tudható be, hogy a népi hiedelemvilágban még mindig sokféle elképzelés él, ezekről a kérdésekről. Mi a halál, mi a meghalás? Mit jelent a keresztény temetési szertartás és annak egyes rítusai?

Amikor Szűz Mária nevéről hallunk elsőként a római egyház Mária iránt kifejezett tisztelete, a Mária dogmák jutnak eszünkbe. Jelen dolgozatomnak fő céljaként azt tűztem ki, hogy arra a kérdésre keresek választ, hogy a protestánsok, jelen esetben a lutheránusok, miként vélekednek Máriáról, valamint megvizsgálom azt, hogy milyen Máriával kapcsolatos ünnepek élnek még ma is a lutheránus egyházban.
