The text above is the Regulations of the Reformed College Teachers drawn up in 1786 by the board of the College of Kolozsvár (Cluj). The 1780s heralded the era of educational reform, marked by the Habsburg Empire’s ruler mandating a centralisation of the educational system. In response, the Reformed Church of Transylvania embarked on an extensive overhaul of its collegiate structure and public education. These regulations were distinctive, echoing the spiritual heritage bequeathed by nobility and monarchs. Notably, they were exclusively designed for the youth of noble lineage, which likely led to their limited application.

Az itt közölt szöveg a kolozsvári kollégium tanácsa által 1786-ban kidolgozott etikai kódex. Az 1780-as évek az iskolai kódexek kora voltak. Ebben az időszakban a Habsburg Birodalom uralkodója elrendelte az oktatás központosítását. Ezért az Erdélyi Református Egyházkerület a kollégium és a népoktatás átfogó átszervezésére készült. Ez a szabályzat egyedülálló, és a nemesek és uralkodók szellemi hagyatékához hasonlítható. Fontos jellemzője, hogy csak nemesi származású fiataloknak szánták, és valószínűleg emiatt nem is alkalmazták. 

A 11. rész szerkezete világos. A 32. v.-ig folytatódik a megkezdett fejtegetés Izráel és a pogányok új helyzetéről, a 33-tól himnikus istendicsőítés olvasható. Kérdés a 9– 11,32 és a 33–36 összefüggése. Ezt a két szakaszt a 32. v. köti össze, mégpedig abban az értelemben, hogy az apostolt nem általában Isten nagysága, önhatalmúsága ejti ámulatba, hanem könyörülete. Azonban a 33–36. verseket önálló textusként is fel lehet fogni.

Psalm-singing in the Community of Therapeutae Based on De vita contemplativa by Philo of Alexandria. The Therapeutae’s ascetic devotion is characterized not only by searching the scriptures, meditation and prayer but also by singing of hymns and psalms. Hymns were composed by the principals of the community, they were those who taught the community members to sing them and they continually enriched the hymnal with new ones. The Essenes’ and Therapeutae’s psalm-singing indicates first of all the common Old Testament origin. However these religious communities had different self-identity from that of the normative Jews and this identity required for a special psalm-poetry to be accomplished. The Therapeutae’s psalms remind us of the church psalm-tradition characterized, just like the Essene hymns, by responsive singing and refrains.

Die Rezeption der neuen ungarischen Bibelübersetzung in Siebenbürgen. Diese Studie wurde als Vortrag in Budapest am 8. November 2005 gehalten im Rahmen einer feierlichen Konferenz des Ungarischen Bibelvereins mit Thema: Die 30 jährige neue ungarische Bibelüberzetzung und die 15 jährige revidierte neue Überzetzung. Der erste Teil der Studie führt uns in die Problematik der Rezeption der übersetzten Bibeltexte allgemein ein, und der zweite Teil stellt die Rezeption der neuen ungarischen Bibelüberzetzung in Siebenbürgen, auch auf dem Grund einer Meinungsbefragung zwischen Pfarrern dar.
