A csodaelbeszélések a mindenkori gyülekezetek életében szólaltak meg, az adott kor történelmi keretei között, a teljes evangélium, kor, ha-tások és Biblia összefüggésében. A gyülekezetek megértési folyamata épített a keresztyén közösség hitfelfogására, krisztológiájára és teológiai gondolkodására, az átélt tapasztalatokra, és reménységére. Az elvégzett tárgyalás megmutatta, hogy a történeti kutatás eredményei az új hermeneutikai felismerések között és az új írásértelmezési szempontok által is hasznosíthatóak, és felhasználásuk nélkülözhetetlen a tudományos igénnyel végzett teológiai munkában, amely az igehirdetés szolgálatában áll.

Isa 8:16 is considered a key reference regarding the formation of the book of Isaiah and the role of prophetic disciples in this process. This article argues, however, that originally this verse had a more limited significance. The instruction to which v. 16 refers is to be identified with vv. 12-15 rather than an early ‘book’ of Isaiah. The expression ‘the instructed ones’ (of YHWH rather than the prophet) is applied to the prophet’s audience. This term reflects Isaiah’s characteristic view of prophesying as an act of instruction and prophecy as a form of teaching, and it does not presuppose the existence of any prophetic school. The view that sealing the instruction would allude to preserving prophetic teaching for the posterity is discounted here in favour of understanding the symbolic act as a metaphor from the legal sphere refering to authentication, with no inherent temporal significance.

In studies on the composition of prophetic literature, the larger textual layers reinterpreting earlier texts, the so-called Fortschreibungen, received much attention. It is well-known that beside these larger literary elaborations prophetic books also contain shorter explanatory interpolations, often called glosses, which intend to clarify a particular imagery of the prophecy (e.g., Isa 9:14). A systematic reading of these short annotations has been neglected, however, in studying the formation of prophetic books. The present article reconsiders the Isaiah-Memoir from this perspective. It identifies editorial interpolations in three distinct pericopes, Isa 8:2, 8:6-7a and 8:23b. It is argued here that the identification of such explanatory additions is the key to understanding notorious textual complexities. Moreover, it points out that these interpolations tend to expose recognisable patterns and common hermeneutical principles.

Az angolszász nyelvterületen reader response criticism néven ismertté vált szempont a Rezeptionsästhetik, illetve Rezeptionskritik formában jelenik meg a német exegetikai irodalom- ban. Magyar nyelvterületen az olvasóközpontú, olvasó szempont szerinti fogalomhasználat vált általánossá. Irányadónak tekintem M. Mayordomo bázeli újszövetséges javaslatát, hogy a teológiában tanácsos lenne a recepciókritika használata, amely nem a recepció/befogadás kritikáját, hanem a recepció vizsgálatát jelenti.

Napjaink szövegértelmezési eljárásai között a történetkritika jelenti a klasszikus és követendő utat. A mögöttünk hagyott évtizedekben megjelent új impulzusok és szövegértelmezési szempontok nemhogy gyengítették volna a jól bevált irányt, hanem erősítették annak eredményeit. A lélektantól, szociológiától és irodalomtudománytól nyert felismerések egyre hatékonyabban beilleszkedtek az eddigi irányzatokba, sőt a régiek is új felismeréseket kaptak. A Református Szemle már jelentetett meg tanulmányokat az új hermeneutikai szempontokról, valamint azoknak a szövegértelmezésben alkalmazott felismeréseiről. Többek között esett már szó a hatástörténetről, de a recepciókritikáról is. Ez utóbbi foglalkozik az olvasó értelmezésbeli tevékenységével és az olvasási folyamattal, amelynek során előáll a szöveg jelentése. Világi képviselői között találjuk Wolfgang Iser, Umberto Eco és Hans Robert Jauss nevét.

Franz Bos személyét azért választottuk bemutatásra, mert esetében megtalálható a titkos rendőrség munkamódszerének valamennyi eleme: a szigorú határellenőrzéstől a részletes ügynöki jelentéseken, figyelmeztetésen és a több irányú technikai eszközalkalmazáson át egészen a nyomkövetésig.

The second half of the 20th century can be characterised by a consolidation of all state structures of the Communist Party. The most important institution in keeping the power was the Secret Police (Securitate), which exercised a strict control over the Churches, including the Hungarian Reformed Church. The Securitate was mostly interested in the foreign contacts of the church. After the Second World War the Reformed Church has kept its contacts with the Reformed Churches in Hungary, as well as with many other Western European churches from the former West Germany, Holland, Switzerland, etc. The Secret Police’s purpose was to gather as many information as possible about the different contacts, and to control the whole issue.

During the Communist regime, in the sixties of the 20th century, the Protestant Theological Seminary started the student exchange program with churches and institutions from the Western part of Europe, mainly the Dutch Reformed Churches. It was in 1968 when the first Dutch couple came to spend one study year in the Seminary. After them students have been arriving each year until the end of the eighties. Coming from a capitalist, “unfriendly” country, the Dutch students have always been watched at by the Securitate (Secret Police) very carefully. Many informers were recruited from among the Reformed pastors as well as seminary professors to control the whole study process of the foreigners. The documents included into this paper are perfect samples of how the Secret Police usually acted.

A protestáns ortodoxia korában a biblika teológia, a rendszeres teológia szolgálólánya volt. Ebből a státusból Johann Philipp Gabler ismert oratiója után lépett ki, amikor jogot szerzett arra, hogy független diszciplínaként helyet foglaljon a hittudományi fakultáson. Azóta az írásmagyarázat feladata nem merül ki abban, hogy bibliai támasztékokat szolgáltasson a dogmatikai tantételek számára, sokkal inkább arra hivatott, hogy a történetkritikai módszer segítségével feltárja az ó- és újszövetségi könyvek sajátos vallási tartalmát és azokat összehasonlítsa egymással.

Feltűnő, hogy a századeleji theologiai irodalomban milyen ritkán esik szó a hermeneutikáról. Ha a folyóiratokat vagy a könyvirodalmat vizsgáljuk, csak elszórtan találkozunk egy-egy tanulmánnyal. Igaz, ez önmagában egyoldalú beállítás, mert ha névleg nem is, de tartalmilag megtaláljuk a XX. század első évtizedeiben is. Mindazonáltal elhanyagolása meggondolkoztató valóság. Annál feltűnőbb azonban, hogy a századfordulótól kezdődően az érdeklődés középpontjába került ez a szaktárgy.
