E helyen most arról kell szólanom, hogy a felvidéki református egyházban milyen módon jelentek meg a káték 1920-tól napjainkig. Tudnunk kell, hogy e kérdéskör taglalásánál nem ragadhatunk le pusztán azon műveknél, amelyeket a felvidéki református egyház adott ki az évtizedek folyamán, hanem egyben szólanunk kell, ha csak érintőlegesen is, azokról a kátékról, amelyek bizonyítottan használatban voltak, vagy talán még most is használatban vannak gyülekezeteinkben.

Az idei esztendő Kálvin emlékezései kapcsán nagyon sokat foglalkozunk reformátorunk teológiájával, történeti szerepével, teológiai örökségével és annak máig ható erejével. Szabadjon megjegyeznem, hogy jelen írás szerzőjeként nem Kálvin-kutatóként, de a Kálvin János teológiájából élő teológusként a reformátori hitpragmatizmussal közeledek a genfi teológus életművéhez, azt a 20. század egyik meghatározó teológusának szemüvegén keresztül láttatva. Jelen írás célját és tartalmát tekintve nem törekszik a teljességre, sokkal inkább egy képet igyekszik rajzolni arról a teológusról, aki meghatározta a modern Európa arculatát, s akinek öröksége a 20. század egyik legmeghatározóbb teológusának nézeteit is jelentős mértékben formálta és meghatározta.

Hymnology in the 16–17th Century Reformed Church of Transylvania. The religious experience, the belief in God and in God’s power has always influenced the society. The 16th century’s reformation defined and still defines Europe’s and the world’s social, religious, political and economical aspect. There were radical changes on the fields of theology, literature, liturgy, in religious songs, printing, school system, and syllabus within it. The new teaching of the reformers needed a new form of worship which preserved some of the old elements, formed, recreated them according to his needs. This way the religious hymn in stanzas was born in people’s native language, so as the metrical psalms in native language and humanist metrical folk songs. Their Hungarian origins are the historical songs of the previous century, songs translated by Luther as German origin and the psalms propagated by Kálvin as French protestant source.

Mit ausgestreckter Hand nach den Geheimnissen… Anmerkungen am Rande der Theologie von K. H. Miskotte. Der niederländische Theologe, Kornelis Heiko Miskotte ist einer der einflussreichsten Theologen seiner Zeit gewesen, der die Theologie Karl Barths auf eigenständige Weise bearbeitet und weitergedacht hat. Seine Theologie ist auch heute eine Quelle der Impulse für den modernen Theologen. Die vorliegende Studie hat sich als Ziel gesetzt, die Theologie Miskottes, wenigstens in ihren Hauptlinien darzustellen, bzw. deren Konsequenzen für die ungarische reformierte Theologie aufzuzeigen. Die Arbeit gleidert sich in drei Teile und eine Einleitung. In der Einleitung sagt der Verfasser, warum er der Meinung ist, daß die Theologie Miskottes heute noch relevant und wichtig für die Menschen des 21. Jahrhunderts sei.
