Miklós Telegdi, a Roman Catholic bishop of the reformation period, was an important figure of his generation. The confessional guide of his Agendarius, first published in 1583 in nagyszombat (Trnava, now in Slovakia), is particular as to its structure and content. in Hungary, this is the first penitential guide that was written in a unique style, including vernacular parts and containing exhortations in a large number. The confessional includes a text discussing the strict obligation on the seal of confession as well as a confession mirror which, according to its genre, is a tool of individual self-examination. In my paper, I attempt to answer the question whether Telegdi’s confessional guide is only unique from a national point of view or also in a wider, international context.

The Disputation of Pécs (Pécsi Disputa) by György Válaszúti is a unique segment of 16th-century antitrinitarian literature. Since pécs was occupied by the Ottoman empire, Christians had to live by strict rules. They had to live outside the city walls, and they could only use one church. The dispute is a chronicle of a religious debate between the reformed citizens of tolna and the antitrinitarian citizens of Pécs.

Ebben a tanulmányban a Gal 2,15–4,7 exegézisén keresztül kívánjuk bemutatni a törvény és a Krisztusba vetett hit közötti kapcsolatot, megkeresve azokat a pontokat, amelyek segítségünkre lehetnek e kettőről szóló bibliai tanítás dogmatikai és etikai értelmezésében, illetve alkalmazásában. Bár tudjuk, hogy a hit és törvény viszonyát nem csupán A galatákhoz írt levél tárgyalja, ugyanis ennek jelentős párhuzamai vannak például A rómaiakhoz írt levélben, e tanulmány keretében csak A galatákhoz írt levél fentebb jelzett szakaszaival van módunk foglalkozni.

Scout Movement in Transylvania. This study is a presentation about the history of the scout movement in Transylvania. The Hungarian scout movement in Transylvania started in 1911. After that many Hungarian scout team was founded. After 1914, when Transylvania became a part of Romania the Hungarian scout teams joined the Romanian scout association, which was founded in 1914. Between the two world wars the Romanian scout association was under the direct influence of the state. After 1940, when a part of Transylvania was connected to Hungary again, the Hungarian scout movement in Transylvania has also revived. The scout started many kind of good projects. They became a useful part of the society. The centre of the scout movement by that time was Kolozsvár.
