Humanity is constantly evolving, which exerts a powerful impact on religion and the church as well. The postmodern era, which spread from the second half of the 20th century, presents a new direction that the church must respond to. The research examines how the gospel can be effectively conveyed in the postmodern world, with special consideration for the relationship between youth and the church, as well as the resulting challenges and opportunities. Based on my university studies and experiences, my viewpoint is that postmodern thinking essentially questions traditional values and systems. It emphasizes diversity, relativism, and subjectivism. This new approach shapes people's worldviews and influences their everyday decisions. The central premise of the paper is that the church has long functioned as a proponent of absolute truth and universal values.

A nagykőrösi reformátusság és a nagykőrösi református iskolák régi és közelmúltbeli története szorosan és szimbolikusan összefonódott a kőrösi egyháznak adományozott Öreg Graduál történetével és sorsával. Meggyőződésem szerint ez az összekapcsolódás nem csupán a múlt vonatkozásában igaz, hanem jövőképet hordoz magában, és távlatokat nyit. A bevezető mondatban említett tény kettős nyomatékot ad a 375 éve megjelent Öreg graduálra emlékező eseményeknek Nagykőrös városában. A legnagyobb csoda természetesen az, hogy Nagykőrösön még mindig jelen időben beszélhetünk e könyvről, amely csodálatos, felbecsülhetetlen eszmei értékű könyvritkaság, amit az adott közösséghez való történeti kapcsolódása még inkább emel.

Őszintén elmondhatjuk, hogy a protestánsreformátus „történeti kántorkép” megrajzolásával, rendszerezésével és értelmezésével mind az egyháztörténet, mind az egyházzene-tudomány mindeddig mostohán bánt. Sok dolgot tudunk, ismerünk (hagyományok, történetek, nagyvonalú visszatekintések), csak valahogyan éppen az összkép homályos. Remélem, hogy konferenciánk sokrétű témafelvetése és közreadott gazdag ismeretanyaga hosszú távon megtermi a maga gyümölcseit.

Bischof Mihály Tasnádi Ruber und seine Familie. Diese Studie stellt eine Ergänzung der biografischen Daten von Bischof Mihály Tasnádi Ruber (cca. 1560–1618) aufgrund von früher entdeckten und bisher unbekannten Quellen. Es ist allgemein bekannt, dass Tasnádi um 156o in Tasnád geboren wurde. Zwischen 1587 und 1591 studierte er in Wittenberg. Über seine erste Pfarrstelle haben wir keine sichere Kenntnisse. Die Fachliteratur erwähnt Gyalu und Bánffyhunyad, Gyalu kann jedoch ausgeschlossen werden. Die Kirchengeschichtsschreibung des 18. Jhs. behauptet, dass er am 7. März 1605 zum Bischof gewählt wurde. Die Bischofsstelle war jedoch seit 1602 lehr und eine aus 1714 stammende Bischofsliste sowie Namenlisten aus Kirchenkreisprotokolle bezeugen, dass er schon in 1602 zum Bischof gewählt wurde. Wir meinen auch, dass er sein Bischofsamt in 1602 angetreten hat. Die dritte Frage ist, wann er seinen Dienst im Magyarigen angefangen hat.
