However, this passage has some features that inspire to further study. These include seemingly pointless repetitions, tensions within the text and contradictions with other verses in the book of Genesis, which lead us to conclude that the text of the pericope in question has undergone significant changes over time. In this study, we will attempt to deduce possible textual layers and reconstruct the sources used, starting from the canonical text and working backwards in time.

Sándor Tavaszy wird als Philosoph-Theologe und als Professor der Theologie in Evidenz gehalten. Das ist damit zu erklären, dass er in keiner Gemeinde als Pfarrer gedient hatte. Er war Philosoph, Professor der Theologie, ein Mensch der Kirche und der Öffentlichkeit mit Verantwortung. Unsere Versäumnis wird nachgeholt, wenn wir aussprechen,dass seine ganze Arbeit im Zeichen des mühevollen Ringens um die Verkündigung des Wortes geschah. Der Prediger Tavaszy wird in allen über ihn geschriebenen Schriften nur tangential erwähnt, oder gar verschwiegen. Es ist Zeit, dass man auch auf diesen Bereich seines Lebenswerkes aufmerksam gemacht wird.
