The hermeneutics of István Tőkés. Following the First World War, the theological stance of the Transylvanian Reformed Church underwent a significant shift. Faculty members at the Reformed Theological Faculty of Cluj-Napoca embraced a “confessional, biblical, constructive” approach, realigning with core Reformed principles, and subsequently, in 1925, they began to follow Karl Barth’s New Reformed theology. István Tőkés, a New Testament professor at the Protestant Theological Institute in Cluj from 1973 to 1983, was mentored by these teachers. This paper explores the evolution of Tőkés’ hermeneutics and exegesis, particularly influenced by Albert Maksay.

A teremtéstörténet nemi differenciáltsággal megalkotott emberére Isten kimondja: „igen jó”.

Not all pastor's children remain close to the Church, despite the fact that they grew up in a religious environment and had the example and model of Christian living. The theoretical objective of my thesis is to explore pastor's children's motivations for living a pious life. For there can be external and internal motivation. The external motivation is when the pastor's child practices godly living and godly speaking, but not from an internal motivation, not from faith. They are not living a godly lifestyle because they feel they need to and because it is of value to them, but they are just living up to expectations. They behave and speak as expected by their parents, their congregation or their environment. They live godly lives either for external recognition and reward, such as the recognition of the church community or the pride of their parents, or perhaps to earn God's approval.

Dolgozatom végéhez érkezve úgy gondolom, hogy észlelhetővé vált a Te Deum laudamus kezdetű óegyházi tétel értékessége, annak teológiai mélysége, amelyet egyházunkban újra fel kellene fedezzünk. A munkám célkitűzése a Te Deum műfajának bemutatása, az abban rejlő teológiai vonatkozások ismertetése, illetve áthagyományozódásának módja a protestáns egyházakba – kitérve a magyar nyelvű reformátusok liturgikus használtára és néhány olyan alkalom felsorakoztatása, amelyen ez értékes óegyházi tétel szavain keresztül adtak hálát a Mindenhatónak.

Psalm-singing in the Community of Therapeutae Based on De vita contemplativa by Philo of Alexandria. The Therapeutae’s ascetic devotion is characterized not only by searching the scriptures, meditation and prayer but also by singing of hymns and psalms. Hymns were composed by the principals of the community, they were those who taught the community members to sing them and they continually enriched the hymnal with new ones. The Essenes’ and Therapeutae’s psalm-singing indicates first of all the common Old Testament origin. However these religious communities had different self-identity from that of the normative Jews and this identity required for a special psalm-poetry to be accomplished. The Therapeutae’s psalms remind us of the church psalm-tradition characterized, just like the Essene hymns, by responsive singing and refrains.

Dolgozatomban elsősorban Alexandriai Kelemen Krisztus-himnuszában található költői képek és eszközök, illetve teológiai gondolatok kibontására törekedtem. Ezáltal szerettem volna rávilágítani arra, hogy milyen hatással volt a görög filozófia Kelemen teológiájára, illetve a hellén kultúra mennyiben befolyásolta a himnusz gondolat- és képvilágát.

Ebben a dolgozatban Fil 2,6–11 Krisztus-himnusz etikai vonatkozásait vizsgálom a közvetlen szövegkörnyezet összefüggésében.
