Family and kinship. Who cares for the family’s concerns today? Practice obedience and love (in the family), for this is pleasing in the Lord (Colossians 3:18–4:1). In an era of secularisation, individuals have drifted from the familial narratives found in the Bible, prioritising personal over communal interests. This shift prompts theologians to consider how they might use Scripture to address contemporary ethical transformations. The early apologists offer a model for engaging with these changes, having adapted their teachings to the Hellenistic context while infusing them with Christian values. This is exemplified by the “Haustafels” (household codes) in the apostolic epistles, which I examine for their Christian ethos and links to ancient economic texts. These codes’ principles—responsibility and mutual respect—remain relevant and vital for harmonious family and community life today.

Eddigi ismereteink szerint az 1921-ben megalakult Királyhágómelléki Református Egyházkerületnek 1927-től jelent meg egy hivatalosnak tekinthető kalendáriuma (naptára), éspedig a Református Árvaházi Képes Naptár (1927–1949). A korabeli nagyváradi református egyházi sajtó feldolgozása és digitalizálása során azonban újabb adatokra bukkantunk, amelyek egy 1923. és egy 1925. évi naptár egykori megjelenését adatolták. Bár többezer példányszámban jelentek meg, e kiadványoknak ma már egyetlen példánya sem maradt fenn.

Az írás által megvalósított szolgálat ősidők óta ismert gyakorlat. A két világháború közötti időszakban addig soha nem látott méreteket öltött a kisebbségi sorba kényszerült magyarság körében az írni vágyás. Az 1919-től 1940. augusztus 30-ig terjedő időszakban Románia 69 helységében 1260 féle hírlap és folyóirat látott napvilágot, együttesen 1672 cím alatt, amelyek némelyike tiszavirág-életű volt, mások azonban hosszú távon is jó szolgálati eszköznek bizonyultak.

A címünkben megjelölt két szó ritkán kerül ilyen közel egymás mellé a szakirodalomban. Ez a dolgozat lényegében arra irányul, hogy feltárja és bemutassa. mi a jelentősége e két fogalom összekapcsolódásának, tehát arról szól, hogy a csoportdinamikai tapasztalatokat miként lehet alkalmazni a gyülekezetépítés kontextusában.

Gyermekkorára emlékezve, már felnőttként mondta valaki édesapjának: lehet, hogy szerettél, de sohasem mondtad, s ez nagyon hiányzott. Nemegyszer a lelkipásztorok szemére vetik, hogy szinte másról sem beszélnek, mint a szeretetről. János apostol pedig itt éppen ezt teszi: címzettjeinek a „legnagyobbról” (1Kor 13,13), a szeretetről beszél.

Before entering in the Promised Land the people of Israel were told not to follow the forbidden practices of the polytheistic nations (Deut 18, 9–14), to avoid all kinds of magical and superstitious practices designed to discover the will of gods, or even to compel the gods to action in certain ways. The occult, superstitions, divinisation, sorcery, spiritualism were abominations all to Yahweh and brought about His judgment. Yahweh made His will known through revelation, by the aid of His prophets, whose words would be clearly understandable to the people in contrast with the ambiguous and mysterious spells of those who worked with magic and divinisation. Israel must be blameless in regard to every form of divinisation, magic or spiritism.
