Mivel a biblikus irodalomra a tragédia műfaján keresztül csak feltételes módban tekintek, választanom kellett egy, a műfajba beleillő alkotást, amely alappilléreként szolgál a tanulmányomnak és a bibliai könyv mellé állíthatom folyamatos referenciaként. Tematikusan esett a választásom Szophoklész Oidipiusz királyára, hisz ahogyan Jób Isten akaratából jut olyan élethelyzetbe, amin önerőből nem tud változtatni és szenved, úgy Oidipusz is hasonlóképp egy beteljesült jóslat, a sors hatására került oda és cselekedett úgy, ahogy az fölötte elrendeltetett.

This research examines the liturgical reform efforts within the Unitarian Church from the early 20th century to today. Analysis of relevant literature reveals a consistent call for renewal among ministers and parishioners, though translating this desire into action is fraught with challenges. The study concludes by highlighting essential components of successful liturgical renewal to guide and motivate those contemplating such changes.
