Valentinus and His Teaching in the Light of Modern Research and Ancient Christian Heresiology -- The first part of this paper contains a summary of the life and teachings of Valentinus written by Bernadett Szűcs, in which the author sketches the most important aspects of this complex topic based on the early Christian primary sources harmonized with the state of the modern research. As an appendix to this introduction, the second part of this paper, written by György Papp contains the first Hungarian translation (accompanied by the original Greek text from the recently published critical edition) of one of the primary sources with a short introduction, to the text: the chapter about Valentinus in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus.

Deși Catehismul a ajuns până la noi din trecut, prin încărcătura sa ideatică, el este extrem de actual, prezența sa este extrem de necesară în dezbaterile metafizice și ideologice din contemporaneitate. Problema „apartenenței” credinciosului, așa cum ne-o prezintă Catehismul, nu este una pur teologică, valabilă exclusiv întrun anumit cadru religios și confesional de discuție, ci ea vizează, cu maximă gravitate, omul și condiția sa aici și acum, propunându-și să ne pună în gardă cu privire la pericolele grave care pândesc existența umană. Cea mai mare amenințare pentru om este omul însuși, cu modul său defectuos de gândire.

A Református Szemle hasábjain immár két éve elkezdett1 sorozatunkban rámutattunk arra, hogy milyen indokok és célok álltak a román kormánynak a bécsi döntés után alkalmazott kisebbségpolitikája mögött. Jelen tanulmány célja rámutatni arra, hogy a kölcsönösségi alapú nemzetiségi politika, és a magyarsággal szemben alkalmazott diszkriminatív kormányzati intézkedések közül a tendenciózus módon alkalmazott cenzúra miképpen bénította meg a korabeli református egyházi sajtó működését Romániában.
