Dolgozatomban az idősek katechézisét és ennek gyakorlati lehetőségét boncolgatom. Az egyházban a gyülekezetek életkora idősödik. S mivel a gyülekezetek többségét is az idősebb korosztály jellemzi, ezért fontosnak tartom, hogy a lelkipásztornak kiemelt célja legyen az idősekkel való foglalkozás. Ahhoz, hogy tudjuk, hogy milyen munkát lehet és kell közöttük végezni, meg kell ismerjük őket: tudnunk kell az öregkor jellemzőit. Az ismeretek megszerzése után megtervezzük a katechizációjukat. Az irántuk és az életük kiváncsisága után segítségünk van a munka megteremtésére. Éreztessük, hogy ők is fontos tagok a gyülekezet közösségében. A velük való foglalkozás lehetőségeként írtam két óratervet, amelyet felhasználva segítséget nyújtok korosztályos biblióra megtartására. Dolgozatom összegzéseként megfogalmazom, hogy átfogó katechétikai munka egy gyülekezetben csak az idősekkel való együttműködés és korosztályuknak szervezett katechizációs alkalmak által lehetséges.

This paper is an expanded and somewhat more elaborated version of an earlier study in which I tried to give a general overview on the word-usage concerning the passion of Jesus Christ in the early Christian creeds. The purpose of this short paper is in part to give a comparative presentation of the sufferings of Lord Jesus Christ in the Western Creeds, and in part I also try to define the role of mentioning the name of Pontius Pilatus in them.

A száz éve elhunyt Takács József református lelkipásztor hat évtizeden át szolgált Berettyószéplakon, és ott is halt meg 1919. március 8-án nyolcvanhat éves korában. Fekete obeliszk síremléke ott áll Berettyószéplak Zúgói temetőjében, és mellé helyezték nyugalomra gyermekeit is. 1990 után a református széplakiak Uszkay Huba lelkipásztor szolgálati ideje alatt (1995–2006) emlékeztek meg róla sírjánál március 15-én, november 1-jén, halottak napján pedig szintén sírjánál emlékeztek és emlékeznek meg. Ezért legfőbb ideje, hogy felidézzük e szorgalmas, gyülekezetét és népét szerető lelkipásztor alakját.

In this short paper I would like to provide a comparative analysis of the passages concerning the passion of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Early Christian confessions (among them the Apostolic Creed1 as well), because these passages are frequently the source of theological misunderstanding and debates. The main question which urged me to do this research had occurred in relation with the Apostolic Creed. How do we say correctly: ‘I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell…’ or ‘I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered, under Pontius Pilate He was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell…’? I shall try to answer this question by analysing the relevant passages of the creeds which were composed in the first six centuries.
