A homiletika területén az egyik legizgalmasabb kérdés a szöveg-lelkész-lelkipásztor hármaselemű dinamikája. Eezeket az alkotóelemeket gyakran egyénileg vizsgálják. Mi alkotja a szöveget? Ki a lelkipásztor? Mi jellemzi a prédikációt? A kortárs párbeszédben jól értjük ezeket az egyéni összetevőket. Mégis a homiletikai összetevők közötti kapcsolat megértése továbbra is bizonyos mértékig nehezen átlátható. Ez a tanulmány a Wilfried Engemann által kidolgozott homiletikai megközelítést elemzi, különösen a "kompetens homiletika" témáját. Engemann megközelítése részletesebben és finomabban foglalkozik az alkotóelemekkel és igyekszik feltérképezni ezek bonyolult kapcsolatrendszerét. A szöveg-lelkész-lelkipásztor hármasa mellett a tanulmány foglalkozik a hermeneutikai szöveg-szerző-olvasó háromszöggel. Fontos felismerni azt, hogy az előbbi dinamikáját és hatékonyságát jelentősen befolyásolja az utóbbi működése.

Valentinus and His Teaching in the Light of Modern Research and Ancient Christian Heresiology -- The first part of this paper contains a summary of the life and teachings of Valentinus written by Bernadett Szűcs, in which the author sketches the most important aspects of this complex topic based on the early Christian primary sources harmonized with the state of the modern research. As an appendix to this introduction, the second part of this paper, written by György Papp contains the first Hungarian translation (accompanied by the original Greek text from the recently published critical edition) of one of the primary sources with a short introduction, to the text: the chapter about Valentinus in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus.

A bibliai szövegnek az egyház igehirdetésében betöltött pozícióját évszázadokra meghatározta a Sola Scriptura reformátori princípium. A prédikáció a Bibliából indul ki és oda tér(ít) vissza. Thomas G. Long és Wilfried Engemann elméletei arra mutatnak rá, hogy elégtelen és kevés, ha csak ennyiben merül ki az egyház biblikus igehirdetése. Olyan elméletekre van szükség, amelyek korszerűen és szakszerűen értelmezik a biblikusságot, mint homiletikai kategóriát és amelyek leleplezik a Sola Scriptura pátosza mögött meghúzódó paradigmaváltásokat. A szintézis olyan homiléták bemutatására törekedett, akik tisztánlátással és megfelelő reflexióval segítenek abban, hogy a paradigmaváltásokat értelmezni tudjuk. A német nyelvterületen tevékenykedő Wilfried Engemann a hit általi élet kontextusában szemléli a homiletikai háromszög instanciáit, jelesül az ige-igehirdető-gyülekezet hármasát, az angolszász Thomas G. Long pedig a Jézussal való találkozás vonatkozásában.

This paper presents the doctrine on baptism in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus. From this presentation we learn that Theodoret presents in this work a multi-contextual image of the “all-holy” baptism. The divine origin of the sacrament determined Theodoret to offer it a special place within his theological system. This special place is expressed through the setting of the chapter concerning baptism as well: it is put between the soteriological Christology and the chapters concerning Theodoret’s eschatology, the latter being an introduction to the ethical chapters.

This article argues that Isa 29,15-24 is composed of five coherent segments. The early Isaianic word, 29,15+21, was reinterpreted in a new way by an exilic author in 29,16-17+20. The presupposed blindness of Yhwh serving as a motivation for an ungodly life by those addressed in 29,15, is reconsidered as the ideology of desperate people who deem the blindness of Yhwh explains the present desolate condition of Jerusalem. The former injustice in Isaiah's society (29,21) is reinterpreted as the injustice of the foreign tyrant against the people of Yhwh. Isa 29,18+24 (the blindness of the people) and 29,19+23d-e (the oppressed Yhwh-fearing people) elaborate on the same theme in a larger context and presuppose a similar situation and author as implied by 29,16-17+21, probably to be identified with Deutero-Isaiah.
