The research titled "Protocols of Five Congregations of the Maros Reformed Diocese from 1687: Nyárádselye, Berekeresztúr, Nyárádszentimre, Nyárádszereda, Nyárádszentanna" examines the year 1687 and the Maros Reformed Diocese. The study aims to uncover and analyze the surveys conducted in these mentioned five congregations, which are associated with the specific time period. The research provides a comprehensive overview of the congregations' history, their life within the Reformed Church, and the collected data. Through the analysis and interpretation of primary sources, insights can be gained into the daily lives of the congregations, religious practices, and other characteristics of religious life during this period. The findings of the thesis contribute to the historical and religious research of the Maros Reformed Diocese, helping to understand the characteristics and challenges of the 17th-century Reformed communities in Transylvania.

Minden gyülekezetet meghatároz az, hogy milyen lelkészi vezetésben részesül. A lelkész „tükröződik” egyházában, amit tesz annak súlya és nyoma van, amit nem annak pedig hiánya. Mégsem mondható az, hogy a gyülekezeti élet teljes mértékben a lelkésztől függ, mert vannak kiváló képességű lelkészek, akiknek gyülekezete nem prosperál és vannak akiknek igen. Mi a siker titka? Mit tudnak egyesek, amit mások nem? Nincs titok, legalábbis nem olyan, ami „varázslatos” lenne. A kulcs az, ami mindenkiben potenciálisan benne van: személyiségjegyekkel fuzionált tudatosságból fakadó, szervezett alapokon álló kemény munka.

A halál, a temetés témája, mondhatni tabu kérdés, bár nap, mint nap halnak meg emberek és végeznek temetési szertartásokat a lelkészek. Az egyházban mégis keveset beszélünk a halálról, a meghalásról. Igehirdetésekben is ritkán fordul elő. Talán ennek is tudható be, hogy a népi hiedelemvilágban még mindig sokféle elképzelés él, ezekről a kérdésekről. Mi a halál, mi a meghalás? Mit jelent a keresztény temetési szertartás és annak egyes rítusai?
