Jelen írásunk apropóját a Magyar Szent Korona 1978. január 5-i hazahozatalának 35. évfordulója szolgáltatja. Az elmúlt évtizedekben, különösen az 1990-es évek eleje óta egyre fokozottabb figyelem övezi a Korona sorsának, jelenkori történelmünkben betöltött, illetve betöltendő szerepének alakulását. Ez az írás arra keresi a választ, hogy a Szent Korona milyen szerepet töltött, illetve tölt(het) be a magyar protestáns gondolkozásban.

Die Wurzel des Wortes Bildung ist „Bild“, und das ist nicht von ungefähr. Bildung entsteht in einem geistigen Prozess im Selbstbewusstsein des Menschen. In diesem Prozess werden die Bilder der Welt, der uns umgebenden Wirklichkeit in die Seele geprägt, und werden daraus Begriffe. Begriffe verwandeln sich mit Hilfe unserer kommunikativen Fähigkeit und der spezifischen Kommunikationsmitteln des Menschen in Worte, Mitteilungen, Sätze. In diesem komplizierten Prozess treten die drei Hauptaktivitäten der Seele – Denken, Einbildung und Willen – in Erscheinung.
