Valentinus and His Teaching in the Light of Modern Research and Ancient Christian Heresiology -- The first part of this paper contains a summary of the life and teachings of Valentinus written by Bernadett Szűcs, in which the author sketches the most important aspects of this complex topic based on the early Christian primary sources harmonized with the state of the modern research. As an appendix to this introduction, the second part of this paper, written by György Papp contains the first Hungarian translation (accompanied by the original Greek text from the recently published critical edition) of one of the primary sources with a short introduction, to the text: the chapter about Valentinus in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus.

A bonhoefferi és Bonhoeffer utáni etikában a tanítványra a követés, a Krisztus-követés feladata hárul, és ez nem veszélytelen út. Ezt sok erre vállalkozó élet is bizonyítja. A követésként meghatározott tanítványság sem eleve veszélytelen, amint azt maga Bonhoeffer is felismerte. Ez a tanulmány kísérlet az „evilágiság”-ba való visszaemelésre, amelyben erre a kérdésre keresem a választ: mi számít bűnnek manapság, illetve mi a „mainstream” bűnkategória? Vizsgálódásomban elszakadok a bűn tradicionális és modern meghatározásaitól, és elsősorban a posztmodern bűnlátásra összpontosítok. Mivel a bűn biblikus meghatározása is lehet többféle, keresem azt a beszédmódot, amely egyben biblikus, és a ma emberénél célba talál. Célom egy lehetséges „mainstream” bűnmeghatározás, amely elengedhetetlen akkor, ha az igehirdetés vagy bármilyen más missziói munkánk végzése során a mai ember gondolatvilágát célozzuk meg.
