Apostle Paul and the Scriptures. An overview of current research and the price of progress. Among Dezső Kállay's biblical studies, the letters of the apostle Paul appear with special emphasis. Paul’s interpretation of the Scriptures was deeply rooted in the active Scriptural tradition of his era, not isolated in hermeneutical vacuum. The Scriptures represented not just the written text but also its interpretation, thus the Israelites’ faith was likened to both a solid foundation and spiritual sustenance, as they “drank from the spiritual rock” (1 Cor 10:4). This study aims to map the key research trajectories concerning Paul’s citations of the Bible. It begins by addressing fundamental issues within accepted consensuses, then evaluates the current state of research, informed by the six-year efforts of the Paul and Scripture Seminar under the Society of Biblical Literature and its two resultant publications. We may conclude that we know more and less at the same time.

Colecția Blaj a Bibliotecii Filialei Academiei Române din Cluj reprezintă un important vestigiu cultural al greco-catolicismului din Ardeal. Nucleul bibliotecii este format din colecția mănăstirii basilitane ctitorite în 1747 cu hramul Sfintei Treimi. În același an a început activitatea seminarului diecezan. Se pare că cele două instituții au avut o bibliotecă comună. Cărțile au fost inventariate pentru prima dată în 1752. Materialul prezentat face parte dintr-o cercetare mai amplă, care vizează descrierea operelor teologilor protestanți din secolul XVI păstrate în colecțiile istorice din Ardeal. În Colecția Blaj a Bibliotecii Filialei Cluj a Academiei Române se găsesc 421 de tipărituri din secolul XVI.

Gyakran találkozunk a szekularizáció fogalmával. Mit jelentett egykor, mit jelen ma? A tanulmányban körbejárom a kérdést. Tisztázom a fogalmakat, felvázolom a folyamat rövid történetét, rákérdezek a jelenség bibliai értelmére, megnevezek teológiai félreértéseket, majd felvillantom a szekularizáció folyamatában rejlő lehetőségeket, kihívásokat és feladatokat a keresztyén gyülekezet számára.

Ebben a tanulmányban azokat a pontokat vizsgálom, ahol az emberi életre vonatkozó meglátásaik találkoznak vagy szétválnak ugyan, de adott szakaszon át párhuzamosan haladnak, miközben sejthető, hogy mindkét egyenes ugyanahhoz a szamárvezetőhöz igazodik. Vizsgálódásom nem a szokványos tartalomismertetés vagy pszichológiai rendszerbe való besorolás útját követi, nem is a közös antropológia megírására vállalkozom. Inkább azt szeretném felmutatni, hogy miként olvasható Frankl Böszörményi-Nagy kontextusában.

A román reformáció kérdésével, gyakorló-lelkipásztori és vallás-tanító-lelkészi súlyos elfoglaltságom mellett, éveken át foglalkoztam. Közben a kérdés összefoglalása és tisztázása érdekében komoly munkák jelentek meg, de ezek dacára sem tartottam feleslegesnek jelen dolgozatomat elkészíteni és közreadni.
