Wie die Hinterseite des Einbandes zeigt, hatte Köpeczi sein Stammbuch be-reits im Jahre 1771 angelegt, also während seiner Studienzeit an der friesischen Universität in Franeker, wo er am 18. Oktober 1770 als Student der Theologie ein-geschrieben worden war. Franeker war von Anfang an auch sein Reiseziel gewesen, als er im August 1770 seine Peregrinatio academica – vom siebenbürgi-schen Nagyenyed aus – angefangen hatte.

A körmöcbányai1 születésű, lutheránus Michaël Corvinus2 M. M. C. C. kezdőbetűkkel írta alá a gondosan lejegyzett emlékkönyvét megnyitó „Deliciae Batavicae”-t. Az írás 1623-ból származik, s a címlap tanúsága szerint Corvinus ugyanabbanaz évben indította az albumot is.

The purpose of this study is twofold. First, it sets the historical context in which Aphrahat wrote his Demonstrations and deals with the interesting relationship between his writings, ‘against the Jews’ and the Sassanian persecution of Christians. It also treats his refutation of the Jewish charges. Secondly, it addresses his ‘unique’ view of christology which is not in line with the Nicene decision concerning one aspect yet at the same time it is congruent with it. The paper also tries to point out that his view on christology was ‘unique’ but not exceptional in the Early Church.
