A cikkemben arra a kérdésre kívántam választ keresni, hogy vajon mi jellemzi az embert, mi és hogyan befolyásolja emberképünk alakulását. Az elmúlt századokban határozott változás következett be abban, ahogyan az emberek egymásról gondolkodnak és egymáshoz viszonyulnak. Mindezek nagyban hozzájárultak az emberkép alakulásához, és sok új kutatáshoz vezettek, amelyek megcáfolják azt, hogy csak az erős maradhat fenn. Ezek a kutatások azt húzzák alá, hogy az ember alapvetően együttműködésre hivatott lény.

In this dissertation I would like to present an extract from Philipp Melanchthon's work Catechesis puerilis. I translated part of the work from Latin into Hungarian. The work, Catechesis puerilis, is quite distinct from Martin Luther's well-known Small Catechism. However, their objective is the same: to teach the knowledge of the Christian faith. Philipp Melanchthon begins the catechesis with a grammar lesson for school-age children. I have divided my dissertation into five major units. The first part is about the life of Philipp Melanchthon. I will briefly talk about his childhood, his school years, and then about his personality, his family and his family life. I am interested in what Melanchthon was like as a child, who were the people who helped him, who took him in, so to speak. In the second part I talk about Melanchthon as a teacher. I was curious to know what Melanchthon was like as a teacher.

A szakdolgozatom témája a Görgényi Református Egyházmegye vizitációs jegyzőkönyveiknek vizsgálata az 1801-es év második felében volt. Az első részben a kor református egyháztörténetébe nyertünk rövid betekintést. Megfigyelhettük azt, hogy ebben a korban, tehát a 18-19. században, Erdélyre nézve nagyon sok szigorítás érkezett a Habsburg részről, II. József által behozott rendelkezések befolyással voltak Erdély területére is. Azok a rendelkezések amelyek Magyarország területén a protestánsokra nézve előnyösek voltak, Erdély számára nem voltak azok mivel hátráltatták Erdélyt. Azonban a szigorítások ellenére azt láthattuk, hogy mégis a reformátusság meg tudta tartani az identitását, illetve Erdély terültén növekedni kezdett a lélekszám és az oktatás is fejlődött. Ezek a rendeletek nem hátráltatták az egyházakat, csak kellemetlenül érintette őket. A protestáns felekezetek azért tudtak fejlődni, mert nem volt éppen olyan szigorú nyomás a Habsburg részről.

The purpose of the Epistle to the Hebrews. In this essay we argue that the particular purpose of Hebrews is obscure for the modern reader. It is clear, that it was addressed to a particular community that needed to be warned not to apostatize, not to turn away from Christianity. But no dogmatic conclusion can be reached on a more precise identification of the danger could consist in. The drift of the argument on the levitical cultus, the exhortations and argumentations from the exposition of so many Old Testament passages would possibly give weight to the theory that the danger was that of relapsing into Judaism, a theory held by numerous scholars. However, this is an inference, though reasonable. But each further step in order to identify the exact form of the apostasy to Judaism will be conjectural.

The Impossibility of a second repentance in the Epistle to the Hebrews. We have argued in this assignment for an interpretation of the impossibility of a second repentance, which is neither entirely psychological, nor is to be understood and complemented by inferences from Greco-Roman patronage, but it is an inherent impossibility, having in its background a theological argument: so splendid is the revelation of God in Jesus Christ, that turning away from it in apostasy is a way that excludes any chance for a second repentance.
