A lelkészi szolgálatot vállalók életének kiemelkedő eseménye a lelkésszé avatás vagy népegyházi kifejezéssel élve, a papszentelés. A protestáns egyházak szóhasználatában megmaradt ugyan a lelkész- vagy papszentelés kifejezés, de a római katolikus egyház gyakorlatával ellentétben ez nem szentség, hanem az egyház által gyakorolt szertartás, ritus ecclesiasticus. Ebben a tanulmányomban az unitárius paprendelés (ordináció) gyakorlatáról, illetve a lelkészi oklevél és eskü szövegének változásairól értekezem röviden.

Az erdélyi protestáns egyházak a zsinatok keretében vizsgáztatták, iktatták be és bocsátották ki szolgálatra lelkészeiket. Ennek voltak igazoló okmányai azok az egyleveles lelkészszentelési bizonyítványok – latinból átvett néven formáták, amelyeket a zsinat adott ki, és amelyeknek célját a jelen tanulmányban bemutatott nyomtatvány fogalmazza meg.

Antonina de Gerando apja oldaláról egy francia nemes családtól származik, anyja oldalán a híres gróf Teleki családtól. Ebben a második tiszteletben a harmadik nagy nevelője (Brunswick Teréz) és anyja nővére (Teleki Blanka) követte a harmadik oktatót. Franciaországban tanult, és ott tanult diplomáját.

Psalm-singing in the Community of Therapeutae Based on De vita contemplativa by Philo of Alexandria. The Therapeutae’s ascetic devotion is characterized not only by searching the scriptures, meditation and prayer but also by singing of hymns and psalms. Hymns were composed by the principals of the community, they were those who taught the community members to sing them and they continually enriched the hymnal with new ones. The Essenes’ and Therapeutae’s psalm-singing indicates first of all the common Old Testament origin. However these religious communities had different self-identity from that of the normative Jews and this identity required for a special psalm-poetry to be accomplished. The Therapeutae’s psalms remind us of the church psalm-tradition characterized, just like the Essene hymns, by responsive singing and refrains.
