The thesis includes and analyzes the conscriptions of five congregations: Csittszentiván, Mezőbergenye, Mezőpanit, Harcó, and Mezőbánd. These conscriptions date back to 1687 and originate from the oldest matricula of the Reformed Church District of Maros. The matricula is rich in data, providing detailed information about the congregations' movable and immovable assets, donations, and social conditions. Initially, the thesis presents an overview of the Reformed Church District of Maros, with particular attention to its historical context, the Reformation, and the characteristics of the period in question. This is followed by brief historical descriptions of the five congregations. During the analysis of the conscriptions, special attention is given to church property elements such as communion vessels, textiles, books, lands, and buildings.

The purpose of this study is twofold. First, it sets the historical context in which Aphrahat wrote his Demonstrations and deals with the interesting relationship between his writings, ‘against the Jews’ and the Sassanian persecution of Christians. It also treats his refutation of the Jewish charges. Secondly, it addresses his ‘unique’ view of christology which is not in line with the Nicene decision concerning one aspect yet at the same time it is congruent with it. The paper also tries to point out that his view on christology was ‘unique’ but not exceptional in the Early Church.

Dolgozatunkban nem az angyalok, hanem az angyali életmód kifejezéssel jelzett kérdéskört vizsgáljuk az ókori egyház időszakában – eredetét, előfordulásait, különböző vonatkozásait. A kifejezés nyilvánvalóan az aszkézis gyakorlatát folytató szerzetesi közösségek tagjaival kapcsolatban jelent meg a legtöbb esetben.

A nézetkülönbségek, a fogalmak tisztázatlansága, az eltérő vélemények olykor olyan nagy vitát idézhetnek elő, olyannyira, hogy azoknak hatását még évszázadokkal később is érezhetjük. Ez történt Augustinus és Pelagius esetében is. Augustinus életét a folyamatos keresés jellemzi, a tévedések és érzelmi zűrzavarok halmazán keresztülverekedve magát, találja meg a helyes utat. Pelagius életét viszont kezdettől fogva a mély kegyesség határozza meg, amelyben nincs helye sem a tévedéseknek, sem pedig az érzelmi zűrzavaroknak. Ez pedig már előrejelzi a kettejük közötti összecsapást.
