The research titled "Protocols of Five Congregations of the Maros Reformed Diocese from 1687: Nyárádselye, Berekeresztúr, Nyárádszentimre, Nyárádszereda, Nyárádszentanna" examines the year 1687 and the Maros Reformed Diocese. The study aims to uncover and analyze the surveys conducted in these mentioned five congregations, which are associated with the specific time period. The research provides a comprehensive overview of the congregations' history, their life within the Reformed Church, and the collected data. Through the analysis and interpretation of primary sources, insights can be gained into the daily lives of the congregations, religious practices, and other characteristics of religious life during this period. The findings of the thesis contribute to the historical and religious research of the Maros Reformed Diocese, helping to understand the characteristics and challenges of the 17th-century Reformed communities in Transylvania.

Buzogány Dezső (Szederjes, Maros megye, 1957. június 30.) egyháztörténész, folyóiratunk felelős szerkesztője, a Babeş–Bolyai Tudományegyetem Református Tanárképző Karának professzora és a Kolozsvári Protestáns Teológiai Intézet társult professzora nemsokára tölti be 60 életévét. Ezért hadd álljon előttünk eddigi pályafutása és munkássága.

Obadja neve alatt tizennégy hatsoros strófa maradt ránk, melyek közül az öt elsőben (az 1-9. v.) egy régebbi balladát találunk, mely Jer. 49, 7-22. vben is megvan. Nagyon valószínű, hogy ennek a balladának a szerzőjét hívták Obadjának; mostani könyvecskénk írójának a nevét pedig nem ismerjük. --- Egy kései irodalmi termék a Jóél könyve is, amelynek keletkezési korát pontosabban nem is lehet meghatározni. Csak annyit mondhatunk egész általánosságban, hogy Tritozekarjánál, akinek művét mi 134 utánra tettük, valamivel későbbi lehet, mert eschatologiai anyaga, amivel dolgozik, már valamivel kiképzettebbnek és megállapodottabbnak látszik azénál.
