Acest scurt studiu aduce în atenție evoluția predării și practicii muzicale în cadrul colegiului unitarian din Cluj în perioada secolelor XVI–XIX. De la interdicția instrumentelor muzicale și a cântatului indecent la permisiunea treptată a practicii muzicale în incinta colegiului și introducerea predării muzicii, evoluția reflectă schimbările sociale și culturale din acele vremuri. Muzica a devenit, în cele din urmă, o parte acceptată și chiar integrată în viața colegiului, marcând o tranziție importantă în percepția și practica muzicală în colegiul unitarian din Cluj și comunitatea unitariană din Transilvania.

Valentinus and His Teaching in the Light of Modern Research and Ancient Christian Heresiology -- The first part of this paper contains a summary of the life and teachings of Valentinus written by Bernadett Szűcs, in which the author sketches the most important aspects of this complex topic based on the early Christian primary sources harmonized with the state of the modern research. As an appendix to this introduction, the second part of this paper, written by György Papp contains the first Hungarian translation (accompanied by the original Greek text from the recently published critical edition) of one of the primary sources with a short introduction, to the text: the chapter about Valentinus in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus.

This paper presents the doctrine on baptism in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus. From this presentation we learn that Theodoret presents in this work a multi-contextual image of the “all-holy” baptism. The divine origin of the sacrament determined Theodoret to offer it a special place within his theological system. This special place is expressed through the setting of the chapter concerning baptism as well: it is put between the soteriological Christology and the chapters concerning Theodoret’s eschatology, the latter being an introduction to the ethical chapters.

A közép- és kelet-európai térségben, a nemzeti művészetek kibontakozása után messze földről érkezett alkotók megtelepedése is hozzájárult a kultúrtörténeti kép sokszínűsének kibontakozásához. Iacob Graf – magyarosított nevén Gráf Jakab – is Svájcból került Erdélybe. Az ő festészeti hagyatékát leginkább dokumentumértéke teszi érdemlegessé és – alkatát illetően – művészpedagógusi kiválósága, amellyel évtizedeken át alapozó munkáját végezte el a rajzoktatásnak, és tanítványai nemzedékeit irányította a művészetek szeretete felé.

A művészettörténészek azt állítják Anthony van Dyck egyik, 1620 körül készült festményéről, amelyet a budapesti Szépművészeti Múzeumban őriznek, hogy az János evangélistát ábrázolja. Viszont a festményen semmi sem utal arra, hogy ez evangélistát ábrázolná. Bak Áron lelkipásztor és festőművész művészettörténeti és bibliai érvekkel bizonyította rövid tanulmányában, hogy ez a festmény nem János evangélistát, hanem a szenvedés poharát elfogadó Jézus Krisztust ábrázolja.

Als Einleitung benützt der Autor drei Vesperbilder von Michelangelo Bounarrotti, und nach der Analisierung der Pieta des Ursulaner Klosters von Erfurt (1320 és 1330), beschreibt er die Eigentümlichkeiten der Vesperbilder von den 15–16. Jahrhunderten. Mit dem Thema der Pieta in weltlichem und menschlichem Bezug begann man sich betont erst seit dem 19. Jh. zu beschäftigen. In der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jh. erschien dieses Thema als Rückwirkung auf die Unmenschlichkeiten des herrschenden Nationalsozialismus. Diese Rückwirkung zeigte sich nicht nur in der europäischen bildenden Kunst, sondern in allen der Welt.
