În Vechiul Testament, Regatul de Nord este adesea considerat o regiune vinova-tă în care poporul s-a îndepărtat de Dumnezeu. Cu toate acestea, este notabil faptul că în descrierea întemeierii cultului din 1 Împărați 12, zeul venerat nu este numit, ci doar definit prin faptul că el a fost responsabil de exod. Un alt aspect deosebit de important este că acest cult nu era centralizat, ci Ieroboam a ridicat altare pentru această divinitate în întreaga țară, inclusiv, foarte probabil, în capi-tală, Samaria, unde exista un templu pentru această divinitate. Bazându-ne pe faptul că exodul este atribuit în toate textele lui Iahve, zeul venerat în Israel nu poate fi altul decât Iahve. El era zeul național și dinastic, inclusiv în Regatul de Nord. Acest lucru este susținut de prezența elementului teoforic iahvist în majo-ritatea numelor regale. Cu toate acestea, cel mai probabil erau tolerate și alte zeități canaanite. De exemplu, regele Ahab a introdus altarul lui Baal în templul lui Iahve.

Valentinus and His Teaching in the Light of Modern Research and Ancient Christian Heresiology -- The first part of this paper contains a summary of the life and teachings of Valentinus written by Bernadett Szűcs, in which the author sketches the most important aspects of this complex topic based on the early Christian primary sources harmonized with the state of the modern research. As an appendix to this introduction, the second part of this paper, written by György Papp contains the first Hungarian translation (accompanied by the original Greek text from the recently published critical edition) of one of the primary sources with a short introduction, to the text: the chapter about Valentinus in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus.

A folkloristák mindmáig adósak maradtak a Jézus-mintázatok lehetséges előfordulásának kimutatásával a mesenarratívákban. Ezt a hiányt igyekszem pótolni. A kárpát-medencei mesemondók előszeretettel teremtettek párhuzamot a mesehős és Jézus élete, tettei között. A csodás születés, az isteni származás, a rejtett gyermekkor, a gyógyító tevékenység, a kereszthalál, az alvilágjárás, a feltámadás példázatként történő elbeszélése gazdag variánsokban mutatkozik meg. A hasonlóságok és eltérések azt mutatják, hogy a paraszti közösségekben hétköznapi emberként, tanítóként és a szegények segítőjeként képzelték el Jézus alakját. A mesenarratívák Jézus-képe a lokális vallási közösségek gondolkodásmódjára és vernakuláris nyelvezetére világítanak rá.

This paper presents the doctrine on baptism in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus. From this presentation we learn that Theodoret presents in this work a multi-contextual image of the “all-holy” baptism. The divine origin of the sacrament determined Theodoret to offer it a special place within his theological system. This special place is expressed through the setting of the chapter concerning baptism as well: it is put between the soteriological Christology and the chapters concerning Theodoret’s eschatology, the latter being an introduction to the ethical chapters.

Ezen tanulmány azoknak a 16–17. századi református énekeknek a történetét vizsgálja, amelyek az újabb énekeskönyv-kiadásokból kimaradtak, de közben a nép nem hagyta feledésbe merülni, hanem továbbra is fenntartotta, megőrizte és különböző formákban átörökítette. A rövid történeti és fogalmi vizsgálódás után tanulmányom egy konkrét népi dallamot és annak elemzését mutatja be.

Kutatásom témája a valláslélektan és a vallásos néprajz körét érinti, amely jórészt felfedezetlen terület. A néprajzkutatás előszeretettel kutatja és tárja fel az életfordulókhoz (les rites de passage) kötődő szokásokat és rítusokat, viszont kevés olyan munka született, amely egyháziteológiai szempontból vizsgálná és írná le a református népi vallásosság évszázadokon át ápolt szertartásait.

Als Einleitung benützt der Autor drei Vesperbilder von Michelangelo Bounarrotti, und nach der Analisierung der Pieta des Ursulaner Klosters von Erfurt (1320 és 1330), beschreibt er die Eigentümlichkeiten der Vesperbilder von den 15–16. Jahrhunderten. Mit dem Thema der Pieta in weltlichem und menschlichem Bezug begann man sich betont erst seit dem 19. Jh. zu beschäftigen. In der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jh. erschien dieses Thema als Rückwirkung auf die Unmenschlichkeiten des herrschenden Nationalsozialismus. Diese Rückwirkung zeigte sich nicht nur in der europäischen bildenden Kunst, sondern in allen der Welt.
