Title of my dissertation: "The History and Some Characteristic of Hungarian Protestant Bible Translations". The sources of translations and revisions are extensive, as a significant number of translations have been produced, spanning many centuries. The primary objective of this paper is to provide a detailed presentation of the history of Hungarian Protestant Bible translations and to conduct a comparison among the texts of these translations. The focus of the paper is on complete Hungarian Bible translations, while partial translations are only mentioned briefly. The translators continuously strived to convey the divine message as accurately and comprehensibly as possible to Hungarian readers. They took into account linguistic and cultural changes to ensure that the texts would meet the needs of the respective era and be easily understood by readers.

Valentinus and His Teaching in the Light of Modern Research and Ancient Christian Heresiology -- The first part of this paper contains a summary of the life and teachings of Valentinus written by Bernadett Szűcs, in which the author sketches the most important aspects of this complex topic based on the early Christian primary sources harmonized with the state of the modern research. As an appendix to this introduction, the second part of this paper, written by György Papp contains the first Hungarian translation (accompanied by the original Greek text from the recently published critical edition) of one of the primary sources with a short introduction, to the text: the chapter about Valentinus in the Haereticarum fabularum compendium of Theodoret of Cyrus.

A protestáns egyháztörténet egy olyan részébe nyújt bevezetést ez a dolgozat, amely mindeddig nehezen vagy egyáltalán nem volt elérhető az olvasók számára. Az esperesi vizitációs jegyzőkönyvek betekintést engednek az említett egyházmegye és azt alkotó gyülekezetek életébe. A dolgozatomban feltárom a felmerülő adminisztratív, fegyelmi és gazdasági gondokat valamint az egyházközségek életét meghatározó fontosabb eseményeket.
