Rezumând atitudinea terapeuților față de bunăstare, putem constata că această comunitate a ridicat la un nivel atât de înalt valorile spirituale, încât a ignorat absolut tot ce aparține vieții zilnice obișnuite. Ei s-au străduit la înmulțirea bo-găției înțelepciunii (par. 16–17, 20) și a valorilor spirituale. În rândul acestei co-munități meditațiile asupra Sfintelor Scripturi, a cărților sfinte proprii, precum și asupra înțelepciunii dumnezeiești (par. 1, 28–30, 67) sunt absolut primordiale, din care rezultă retragerea din lume și disprețuirea totală a bogăției pământești.

The Textual and Redactional History of Genesis 46:8–27 -- Genesis 46:8–27 lists the names of those who went down along with Jacob to Egypt during the famine in Canaan. However, this passage has some features that inspire to further study. These include seemingly pointless repetitions, tensions within the text and contradictions with other verses in the book of Genesis, which lead us to conclude that the text of the pericope in question has undergone significant changes over time. In this study, we will attempt to deduce possible textual layers and reconstruct the sources used, starting from the canonical text and working backwards in time.

This paper is an expanded and somewhat more elaborated version of an earlier study in which I tried to give a general overview on the word-usage concerning the passion of Jesus Christ in the early Christian creeds. The purpose of this short paper is in part to give a comparative presentation of the sufferings of Lord Jesus Christ in the Western Creeds, and in part I also try to define the role of mentioning the name of Pontius Pilatus in them.

A tanulmány a 2002-2013 közötti időszak erdélyi protestáns biblikus irodalom bibliográfiai anyagát összesíti egy rövid bevezetéssel.

A dolgozat a történeti Jézus-kutatás „legújabb” eredményeit ismerteti röviden, illetve olyan Jézus-portrékat próbálok számba venni, amelyek sokszor kedvezőnek, máskor „meredeknek” hangzanak még a szabadelvűnek mondott „unitárius fül” számára is. Célom pedig az, hogy inkább a magam számára igyekszem egy kis világosságot gyújtani e vitatott és ellentmondásos Jézus-kutatás területén.

Ebben a jellemzésben is felfedezhetjük, hogy a törvény szerinti élet, a földi javak megvetése és az elkülönülés, valamint az Istennek szolgáló életvitel együvé tartoznak. A papi, elit jellegű terapeuta létmód pedig az Istenhez menekülés sajátos formája.

Amikor a 20. század elején a teológiai gondolkodásban újra felmerül a történeti módszertan problematikája és az a kérdés, hogy milyen horderő tulajdonítható a kritériumrendszernek és annak a módszertannak, amelyek a bibliai szövegek elemzését hivatottak végezni, Rudolf Bultmann teológiája és kérdésfeltevésének módja kifejezett élességgel fogalmazza meg az előzetes megértés kérdéskörét. Teológiájának elemzése azzal a problémával szembesít, amely mára már közhelyszerűvé vált: a teológia és az általa alkalmazott konszenzuson alapuló metodológia olyan előfeltevésekkel terhelt, amelyek befolyásolják a Szentírásból nyerhető képet. Bultmann úgy képes hatályon kívül helyezni saját előfeltevéseit, hogy mindaz, amit meg lehetne fogalmazni, visszahúzódik a döntés pillanatában. Így az üzenet, és ezzel együtt mindaz, ami Istenről elmondható, kimondhatatlanná válik — a cselekvés megvalósítására irányuló puszta felszólítássá. Ez a cselekvés egyszerre a hit, a döntés és a szeretet tette.

A bibliahamisítók: Miként vezetnek félre minket az igazságot illetően (Die Bibelfälscher. Wie wir um die Wahrheit betrogen werden) című könyvében Klaus Berger az Újszövetség történetkritikai módszerrel végzett egzegézisét bírálja. Bár polémiában sok mindent kifogásolhatunk, könyve mégis figyelemre méltó, és teológiai törekvését/szándékát komolyan kell vennünk.

Az angolszász nyelvterületen reader response criticism néven ismertté vált szempont a Rezeptionsästhetik, illetve Rezeptionskritik formában jelenik meg a német exegetikai irodalom- ban. Magyar nyelvterületen az olvasóközpontú, olvasó szempont szerinti fogalomhasználat vált általánossá. Irányadónak tekintem M. Mayordomo bázeli újszövetséges javaslatát, hogy a teológiában tanácsos lenne a recepciókritika használata, amely nem a recepció/befogadás kritikáját, hanem a recepció vizsgálatát jelenti.

In this short paper I would like to provide a comparative analysis of the passages concerning the passion of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Early Christian confessions (among them the Apostolic Creed1 as well), because these passages are frequently the source of theological misunderstanding and debates. The main question which urged me to do this research had occurred in relation with the Apostolic Creed. How do we say correctly: ‘I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell…’ or ‘I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered, under Pontius Pilate He was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell…’? I shall try to answer this question by analysing the relevant passages of the creeds which were composed in the first six centuries.

Psalm-singing in the Community of Therapeutae Based on De vita contemplativa by Philo of Alexandria. The Therapeutae’s ascetic devotion is characterized not only by searching the scriptures, meditation and prayer but also by singing of hymns and psalms. Hymns were composed by the principals of the community, they were those who taught the community members to sing them and they continually enriched the hymnal with new ones. The Essenes’ and Therapeutae’s psalm-singing indicates first of all the common Old Testament origin. However these religious communities had different self-identity from that of the normative Jews and this identity required for a special psalm-poetry to be accomplished. The Therapeutae’s psalms remind us of the church psalm-tradition characterized, just like the Essene hymns, by responsive singing and refrains.
