A „russzkij mir” („orosz világ”) egy képlékeny eszme, amely Ukrajna orosz inváziójával került a figyelem középpontjába mint a háború ideológiai alapja. A fogalom jelentése, vagy legalábbis annak publikus meghatározása, változásokon ment keresztül. Míg megfogalmazása szakaszában a nyelvi-kulturális határokon átívelő orosz közösség eszméje ártalmatlannak tűnt, addig a 2000-es évektől – Putyin hatalomra kerülésével, illetve az Orosz Ortodox Egyház [OOE] által eszközölt jelentésmódosulás nyomán – a „russzkij mir” az orosz birodalmi eszmék foglalata és eszköze lett. A tanulmányban az „orosz világ” jelentéseit, a fogalom jelentésváltozásait tekintem át, és annak vallási vetületét, a „Szent Rusz” képzetét tárgyalom. Ezt követően kitérek Kirill pátriárka diskurzusára, amely az „orosz világ”, illetve a „Szent Rusz” ideológia fogalmi rendszerével legitimálja Oroszország Ukrajna elleni háborúját. Végül ortodox teológusok 2022-es elítélő nyilatkozatát ismertetem az „orosz világról”.

În cartea sa Biografie van de dominee, teologul practic olandez Heitink dedica un capitol special dezvoltării oficiului pastoral protestant. El se întreabă când a apărut pastorul protestant așa cum îl cunoaștem astăzi în istoria bisericii. Răspunsul la această întrebare ne duce înapoi în secolul al XVI-lea. În istoria Reformei, acesta este momentul când apare pastorul, însă nu ca preot hirotonit din sânul clerului, ci ca laic. Potrivit doctrinei reformate, membrii comunității lui Dumnezeu ocupă diverse oficii, iar în vârful acestora se află funcția de pastor. Comunitatea alege anumite persoane pentru această funcție după ce a constatat că aceștia au darurile necesare de la Dumnezeu pentru această slujire. Heitink consideră că, într-un timp relativ scurt după implementarea oficiului pastoral, pastorul a devenit un funcționar bisericesc. Această funcție, fie ea laică sau ecleziastică, a crescut în importanță de-a lungul timpului.

Not all pastor's children remain close to the Church, despite the fact that they grew up in a religious environment and had the example and model of Christian living. The theoretical objective of my thesis is to explore pastor's children's motivations for living a pious life. For there can be external and internal motivation. The external motivation is when the pastor's child practices godly living and godly speaking, but not from an internal motivation, not from faith. They are not living a godly lifestyle because they feel they need to and because it is of value to them, but they are just living up to expectations. They behave and speak as expected by their parents, their congregation or their environment. They live godly lives either for external recognition and reward, such as the recognition of the church community or the pride of their parents, or perhaps to earn God's approval.

Examining Some Ethical Issues in the Context of War -- One of the main questions of this paper is whether the arguments in defence of war can be coupled with equal concern for the laws of war. While a permissive reading of the classical, theological just war tradition draws a number of conclu-sions that can be debated, this essay has attempted to draw attention to the fact that Augustine's questions of disordered political commitments (loves) are insep-arable from the more familiar questions of “right reason”, “right power” and “right intention”. Augustine’s reading reminds us that political desires still determine not only decisions to enter into armed conflict, but also the application of the inter-national law. On the one hand, politics is a means of influencing the dominant powers, a means of spreading their values, but also a means of holding them to account. It is also the voice of the oppressed and the vulnerable.

A hitelesség – mint létforma – az elmúlt évek egyik meghatározó területe a lelkipásztor életének. Az előadás témája a hitelesség kapcsán három irányba kíván vezetni. Ezek a következők: hitelesség az Igéhez, a szervezethez és a lelkésznek önmagához. Az tartalmát illetően előadás inkább egy szakmai életút tapasztalatainak összefoglalása, mint tudományos munka, és lehetőséget kínál saját emberi és hivatásbeli hitelességünk végigggondolására.

Jelen írásunk a próféta életrajzának egy különleges szeletével foglalkozik. Ez a tanulmány a próféta és szülőhelye kapcsolatáról szól. A könyv nyitánya szerint Jeremiás az „Anátótban lakó papok közül való volt” (1,1). A 32. fejezet tudósítása szerint egy rokona földet kínált neki eladásra, igaz, meglehetősen ellentmondásos kontextusban: a próféta ekkor már raboskodott, a hódító babiloni sereg pedig már szó szerint a kertek alatt járt. Írásunk erre az elbeszélői elemre, a földszerzés motívumára fókuszál.

In this article we shortly introduce T. S. Eliot, noting some major themes he addresses, particularly in relation to religious faith and the search for meaning in life. In the second and third sections our article concentrates on the 1934 church pageant, called ‘The Rock’. This drama was only published once and is hard to find. However, the poetry Eliot included in the drama, called ‘Choruses from The Rock’, have been reprinted and included in various volumes so that these are readily available. But among those people who have read some or all of the ten Choruses from The Rock, very few have ever found a copy of the play in which these poems were situated.1 We present quotations from the ten choruses, with a few annotations at times concerning the context. In the fourth section we look at various aspects of Eliot’s Christology as found in The Rock.

A ne ölj parancsolat lévinasi interpretációja kétségtelenül érvényes volt, de nemcsak azáltal, hogy reflektált a gondolkodó személyes traumáira, hanem azáltal is, hogy a huszadik század viharai közepette is letisztult, kategorikus imperatívuszként szólalt meg. A lévinasi arc felhívása ma is aktuális, mert szerte a világon több mint 40 háború zajlik, az emberek letiporják egymást, és gyakran úgy mennek el egymás mellett, hogy nem látják meg egymás arcát.
