This thesis explores the Christological interpretations found in 16th–17th-century Unitarian theology, with a particular focus on how early Unitarian thinkers perceived the nature and role of Jesus Christ. The central research question asks whether Christ was understood merely as a moral teacher or rather as a divinely commissioned figure with spiritual authority. The study assumes that early Unitarian Christology was not only a rational theological construct but also a deeply held spiritual conviction grounded in faith. The main body of the thesis is structured around four theological focal points: the incarnation of Christ, the concept of atonement and redemption, the doctrine of justification, and the question of adoratio whether Christ should be worshipped. These themes serve as touchstones for evaluating the theological diversity and development within early Unitarian thought.

În acest eseu, îmi propun să conturez doctrina referitoare la întruparea lui Isus Hristos așa cum este reflectată în cele mai semnificative crezuri ale creștinismului. Totuși, pentru a înțelege evoluția acestei doctrine, voi începe prin a prezenta câteva imagini din lumea primelor declarații asemănătoare cu crezul care au apărut în perioada post-biblică.

A tanulmány Tavaszy Sándor azon írásait, beszámolóit tekinti át az unitáriusokról, amelyek a Református Szemle, Az Út református folyóiratokban és a korabeli erdélyi sajtóban jelentek meg, és Tavaszy írásainak három területét vizsgálja: 1. beszámolói az unitárius egyházi eseményekről (püspökbeiktatás, évforduló); 2. unitárius személyek (Brassai Sámuel, Orbán Balázs); 3. kölcsönös könyvismertetések (Tavaszy könyveinek ismertetései az unitáriusok által és az unitárius könyvek ismertetései Tavaszy által). Konklúzió: ezek az írások írások, beszámolók a két világháború közötti nehéz időkben erősítették a magyar egyházak közötti kapcsolatokat és a közös cselekvések lehetőségeit szorgalmazták az egyház-és nemzetmentő munkában.

I invite the reader to take a journey into the theological world of two little treatises written by one of the most interesting ecclesiastical figures of the fifth century coming from the Antiochene tradition: Theodoret, Bishop of Cyrus.
